About

For a while now, I’ve been conducting research for an ongoing photography and video project that focuses on notions of the future. I’ve put together a set of questions that I feel can best get to someone’s personal core notions and perspectives of “the future,” what it is, what it means, etc.  The word “future” itself is open to anyone’s individual definitions or interpretations.

The questions can be found here.

The questions can be answered in any order and the interviewee can choose to answer as many or as few as they like. The answers can be as abstract or as literal, as long or brief as they want them to be.

Based on the 11 interviews I’ve already collected, I shot and put together a series of 7 photographs that I felt best embodied the collective notion of the future, which I will post at a later date.

On this blog, I intend to share the interviews I have so far as well as post about whatever I feel harkens thoughts, visions or sensations of “future,” whatever that may be.  My hope is that others will become interested in what I’m doing enough to submit their own answers to my questionnaire.
